i didnt know much about him, i do have a friend who got into debates thanks to Charlie.
Charlie grew onto him because of his weird takes, and he dreamt of debating him one day, it is why he picked debating as a hobby, waiting for Charlie to visit his county, now that Charlie is gone he feels empty, he wont be able to debate him or address to him in person

Interestingly his death helped Republicans' "cause" by showing how evil leftists are.
However, because I am not an evil leftist, I don't prioritize a political "cause" over his life. I wish I could resurrect Charlie. I wish this never happened.

This one has affected me more than I expected it to. I never paid much attention to him but I did appreciate his rightward drift from his "protecting faggotry in Botswana" days. And he was very effective for Trump. I'm a father of two young ones myself. Lived experience is a meme. The labels people give to their emotions reflect the causes of those emotions very poorly. It's the classic suspension bridge effect, people will describe the same emotional state in polar opposite terms depending on the situation.
The words we use to describe our emotions primarily serve social roles. They are not actual accurate self-reflections. When someone says they're feeling a certain emotion, it's either because they think that's what is socially acceptable, or they are trying to manipulate others.
