The main culprit is Dihydrotestosterone, which is a more potent form of testosterone that plays a role in your sexual development, especially during puberty and is responsible for your dick and balls gaining their adult form. It's also responsible for pubic hair and stuff. As you get older, it continues to have an affect on your body and some people more sensitive to it will have some hair on their head thin due to its presence.
