And so the conversation about "developing a class consciousness" comes up, but everyone sees that maybe humans in general are incapable of doing that as long as there is ethnic diversity. It doesn't even need to be a "race realism" thing, people just are naturally too distracted and convinced of false problems to ever meaningfully and effectively develop and act on class consciousness without first achieving a more homogenous and less diverse national consciousness, sense of civics, and responsibility to community, to ever have a shot at turning billionaires into millionaires so they have much less power in influencing and controlling elections. All that surplus value that goes to exec payout and investors now could then go to workers and consumers instead and our country can be less controlled by billionaires.
But this is utopian, right? Even if homogenous nationalist consciousness is achieved, there are plenty of distractions that exist and can be cooked up. There will be no moment of "okay, now that that's out of the way, how about you stop benefiting off how little you give me and how much you cheat me?" If you were this easily distracted going into this, why would the billionaires just sit back and let you get to this point so easily when they control a lot more than just the narrative? So class consciousness needs to be developed first, it's a shorter walk to policy that existed just 10 years ago.
