There were plenty of cameras still recording on the day after Charlie was shot. If one of them is recording the tarp behind him, once he is removed and there is a clear line of sight, we will be able to see if there is a bullet hole that confirms the angle that the media is trying to push down everybody's throats. A high powered rifle fired from the proposed rooftop shooter story would have gone clean through the back and through the tarp. A bullet carrying that kind of inertia would literally blow out the back of his neck if it hit the spine enough to stop the bullet from passing through. The wound you see there was mostly flesh. Carrying out the shooting from behind and at the angle that the entry and exit wounds indicate(behind the ear then out the neck), would actually ensure a higher chance of killing the target while avoiding any collateral damage as the bullet would hit the ground after passing through his brain stem. Also, by trying to traject the bullet path of this theory. We should theoretically have video footage of where the bullet might have ended its path, after passing through him. It would not be difficult for people on the day to have noticed a bullet ricochet from a caliber of bullet as large as that. Especially with such differing angles being proposed. If that bullet didnt pass through him, he would have sustained way more damage I feel. Also, A shot from a pistol through the neck from behind would look very much like that.

I've done this line of work.
Embalming itself takes maybe an hour, soft internal organs are removed and bagged beforehand during the autopsy, reason being these are the first things to start to break down and cause a stench.
This is why you'll never see any open shirt coffin presentation the stomach and intestines are usually the first to purge and sometimes you can end up with a rotten hole in the abdomen area.
When a family says it's goodbyes and views the deceased you want a nice clean presentation.

Anyway embalming takes only about an hour then it's basically an overnight process for the fluid to take effect and preserve the outside tissue.
