You can't really get into the military anymore economy is shit and everyone that lost their job has already joined the military. They're also very selective with the people they pick.

Actual military experience is probably useful for us. In the future we need veterans not Walter Militias commanding the militias. Further drones and more AIslop will come online soon and change warfare as well as law enforcement, and we need to keep abreast of that.

I realize what I am saying is sus, but strategically it is sound. The last thing the left wants is us filling the ranks of the military as it makes it that much more difficult for them to order the troops to shoot "fascist" protestors when the time comes. It may actually be the opposite with them trying to discourage us from joining the military and police.

It is very unlikely you will actually die, even in the Iraq war for frontline troops the chances were low. For logistics and the navy and whatever it was basically zero.
