I'll shill for my state, Ohio. If you're aware and not prone to relaxing, the triple C's are your normal city fare, but what I personally like is the hawking hills area and Amish country stuff. Your mileage may vary but I like the scenic stuff like that. Although as I've said before, if you're used to never relaxing than there are some good spots in our cities.

I have no idea why you would want to visit the US as a tourist. If you have family there, fine.

I know eventually in the next few years I'll have to go over once my grandmother dies and bury her in the family plot at Graceland. At that point I'll probably visit all the important landmarks in Manchester and elsewhere. But I'd clearly have no desire to visit otherwise.

It's very telling to me honestly how people choose to travel. While I'm young I'm perfectly content to take my trips within the US. There is so much nature and stuff to see. Such variety. It's hard to even scratch the surface.

Once I become old and less able I may be more inclined to travel to Europe to see the historical stuff but it makes no sense to me to do that while I'm young. The natural creation always far eclipses anything mankind makes. Where you live you should know that.

They are major tourist cites. Tgere are also alot of parks that almost no one goes to. There are also parts of alot of major parks no one goes to.

It's tougher if you have a family around or if you arent capable of doing anything in the outdoors though. In that case you may have to stick to the tourist places. Some of my best trips Ive ever been on I went for almost nothing camping and hiking with some of my bros. It cost not much more than a tank of gas.

I’ll give a serious answer. If you want to see nature shit it’s among the best in the world, but aside from that it’s one of the worst tourist destinations. Reasons are as follows, cost- it’s an insanely expensive place to be a tourist. Hotels are expensive, transport is expensive, things to do are expensive etc. speaking of transport- it sucks. Distances are vast, public transport generally sucks, and all of it is expensive. Safety- it’s perfectly safe here if you know the place and aren’t so poor you are forced to live in a bad spot. However, a tourist won’t know the places to avoid and sadly a lot of areas tourists might want to go aren’t terribly safe. You gotta do your research to be safe which sucks for a first world country but that’s how it goes here. You know why. We don’t have much interesting history compared to other places, and while there IS endless stuff to do, it’s all expensive as fuck. If you have lots of money to blow though you can have a great time. Personally I’d pick somewhere else, I only tourist around here because I’m from here and it’s easy for me. Also it’s English speaking which is a plus if you are English first language. Oh and also the food here is not great, generally speaking compared to many places. So to sum up, if you want to see nature, come here. If you are rich go party in LA or Vegas or New York and you will have a blast. Otherwise I’d go elsewhere.

I just thought of something recently too. Many foreigners who visit the US never go anywhere else except the most walkable cities in the country (NYC, LA, Disneyworld). It's like it's catered to them so they don't realize how shitty this country is to live in by stepping out of these areas.

Absolutely, the US spans the entire continent so you can find just about any environment you want if you stay and travel long enough. The people are unusually friendly as long as you don't get to know them and stay away from the ghettos. The problem is that you need to plan your trip wisely because most foreigners don't realize how fucking huge it is. There's a really good reason a lot of Americans haven't left the US and it's because most of them can get away with just vacationing in their own country.

It is not only the medical bills and the high price in general. The issue right now is not about money. And crime was always a consideration when traveling to the US. Nothing of that has changed.

However, even wealthy folks avoid the US right now. The political climate is perceived to be very violence friendly right now, and border official behavior is downright madness.

Why would you travel to a country to get put in custody and sent home, even if you have completely valid paperwork? No other place in the world right now will deny you entry on a whim, just because a single dude at the border agency doesn't like your face. Except for the US.

It is apparently not a topic of widespread discussion in the US, but it very much is across the globe.

I agree the US is extremely strict about border enforcement, but Euros don't have to deal with that.

The whole immigration and customs services in the US is basically because the US and its government think that living here is the greatest thing since sliced bread and people, even Euros, would kill to live here as cashiers. When in reality, those American cashiers only ate a peanut butter sandwich for dinner after their 12 hour shift because their rent is $2000 / month in the ghetto.

There's a reason why Spics just cross the border. The US immigration system is so lazy, spoiled, and entitled and the Orange Kike will just make this shit stricter.

And no, deporting the Spics here won't make houses or rent cheaper. It won't solve crime because it's mostly our own niggers commiting it. It won't solve the obesity problem because the Americans are actually the fat ones.

To apply for a visitor visa, one will have to submit an additional $250 fee on top of the usual fees.

AND if you are from a country that has a high risk of visa overstay, they will make you deposit $5000-$15000 to just visit "just in case". They only have tested the waters with some African shithole, but I imagine they will roll it out broadly.

kek I went in 95 and SF was already a shit hole with homeless poopy men hauling trains of stolen shopping carts filled with folded up fridge cardboard boxes and at 6PM sharp they'd set up elaborate cardbord houses with plastic sheeting covers in the huge doorways of big banks downtown. Berkely was obviously a lovely community upt to at least the end of WW2 but it was deserted by nightfall under a pall of dismal fear that was echoed by the non stop heinous crime reports on the motel room TV. This fear of going out was only broken at dawn when everyone rushed out at the sound of urgent traffic reports of the growing gridlock on the freeway back to SF. Not a fun or charming place at all. It's hard to imagine anyone even attempting to be a hippy there ever.

As the small farmer, after the day's work was over, sat before his cottage smoking his long clay pipe, he could reflect that for him the country had fulfilled its promise. The land around him was his own; his tobacco brought in enough for him to purchase clothes, farm implements, and household goods.

But he frowned as he thought of the slave ship which had come into the nearby river, and landed a group of Negroes who were all bought by his wealthy neighbors. If Virginia were flooded with slaves, would it not cheapen production[iii] and lower the price of tobacco? Could he and his sons, when they hoed their fields with their own hands, compete with slave labor?

The event fully justified these fears. The yeoman class in Virginia was doomed. In the face of the oncoming tide they had three alternatives—to save enough money to buy a slave or two, to leave the country, or to sink into poverty.

I am probably going to end up moving there, especially how this country is difficult as fuck to live in and the orange kike would make her coming here to live an even more expensive and slow fiasco than it is right now.

She still believes the Jew propaganda that this shithole is a good place to live even after I have argued with her many of times how the wages are flat here yet rent only goes up.

It's a good book I found. Essentially the colonists were EXTREMELY wealthy. Life became shit though when people became wages in the industrial revolution.

I think America and the Constitution's philosophy is flawed in modern times because it was so focused on limited government control and the focus on land rights and low taxes. Why? Because even the "poorest" peasant at the time owned several acres of land. That's an impossibility though in the modern US where most are wagies and renters and skilled craft and farming work is basically non-existent.

>Earns $20/month
>Lives in a cabin in which he pays $20 year

Another writer, who traveled from Virginia to Illinois in 1817 look
ing for a homestead, and who made datty notes of his observations
and experiences, found, in McConnellsburg, Pa., a blacksmith who
“ earns $20 a month and board, and he lives in a cabin of one room
for which, with a garden, he pays $20 a year.”

because people in big cities suffer a mild form of internet cuntiness; they are used to an environment where you can interact with a person and never see them again despite still living in the same place
people in small towns are much more polite because they have grown up knowing that word of shitty behavior gets around fast
also the nigger factor, but that goes without saying

San Francisco or New York. And obviously if you pay for a nice Hotel. I liked San Francisco Fishermans worf. Its a great place to visit if you are from another country. Just be careful about other parts of the city. You can stay on the worf and have about a weeks worth of fun if you have the money and the time.
