Never.

Do you fucking idiots not understand how inflation works. The price is never going down, only the rate of inflation.

Fuck that Satan. Just steal food.
Walk in, pick up a $25 steak, walk out.
If they aren't going to deal with the niggers except raise prices to make us pay for the stuff they steal. I say we do what white people do best, learn and adapt to the system in place.
Not your regular shop. Leave your cell phone at home. Nothing over $50. Don't linger.

Sadly never. Not in general at least. Secretly every single grocery would LOVE to raise their prices but due to capitalistic competition. Doing so would immediately see a huge drop in overall sales due to volume and people shopping elsewhere. However if all the stores raise them at the same time. No harm no foul and they can mask that increase under the guise of inflation or the pandemic or whatever crisis caused the price increase. Now if it is just a short term temporary blip they tend to return to their original prices because people fucking notice. However if we got a frog in the pot situation where it goes on for years and years. Even when the initial reason for the price hike goes away, they have no good reason to return the prices to their original state. Since everyone is now used to this new norm. They can just pocket the difference. It is exactly why we have anti-monopoly and anti-trust laws. To prevent industries from price fixing together to increase everyones overall profits at the detriment of the public. In this case due to covid/biden back to back they have a solid reason to engage in this behavior and reap the benefits.

tl dr; never ever corpos are greedy and got a free out to price gouge

>lowering the prices
Yeah down to what they were 5 years ago minus actual inflation. They got to jack up the price under false pretenses and are letting SOME items go back to what should be normal to appear to be a value company to consumers. In reality they are fucking us over blind and giving you a $0.25 sucker for the privilege of painting your colon white.

haha you're going to look back on september 25 as a golden age when you could still find products on the shelves. you will look at right now, with 200-300% inflation, with rose colored glasses. you will never believe how rich we were, right now.

Food price is intrinsically linked to oil and gas and their byproducts, neither of which is becoming more abundant. Also the land has been raped and we are staring down the barrel of complete topsoil failure in many countries.
Basically you can look forward to a future diet of mostly grains and legumes and maybe chicken, pork and eggs for animal protein, but they will be expensive. Major food importing countries are going to be absolutely buckbroken. Places like the UK will experience episodes of starvation in the next 20-30 years.
