The majority of the world's oil is found in the middle east. The world would literally grind to a halt if Europe stopped importing oil.
I'm not saying we shouldn't do it, but the idea that Europe could just up and leave is a fantasy.

Nikon and Canon can do litography just as ASML you retarded mutt. Japan and China have the tech, but the european alternative is more popular for legacy tech

Bruh are you serious?
Germany is probably the only exception; but the majority of the world's machine tools are produced in Asia, including China and ma country

If anything, Nikon and Canon can do legacy lithography, not the other way around.
Canon has an experimental NIL tech that is interesting and could go as far as a 5nm equivalent.
It's based on US tech for most part though.
As for China, it's a joke: it's all stolen technologies via industrial spying on a scale that is unheard of.

Because, apart from old nodes (~65nm/22FDX), europe has no leading edge foundries.
We still make chips though, mostly ASICs for appliances, cars, etc.
Industrial spionage and reverse engineering is as old as industry itself in human civilization and every country does it to some extent. If China or any other country decode your junk and creates a copy then cry harder, nobody gives a shit, Nigger
>>516129037 >nobody gives a shit
You're right. Even I don't give a shit.
I don't give a shit about the rest of the world too.
How about showing your flag?
