Because leftists kept killing and cancelling the moderates and neutrals. The purpose of moderates is act as the "brakes" of a movement. When the moderates are all killed and cancelled then the foot comes off the brakes and we accelerate. Neutrals don't really care about politics. If you kill and cancel them then they will just side with whoever is willing to protect them. The left's mantra has always been "neutrality in the face of oppression is siding with the oppressor" and has thus always been an enemy of neutrals. The right is willing to protect neutrals from leftists, and is aware that everyone has their own struggles and thus doesn't expect everyone to prioritize the right's issues over their own issues.

The left's destruction of the moderate right took the brakes off the right, and the left's alienation of neutrals lead to swelling of the right's numbers. It's that simple. Leftists still don't understand that people aren't being pulled right by the right's propaganda, they are being pushed right by the left. The left are the ones doing all our recruitment work for us.
