There's a lot to discuss: but to summarize: we have no national discourse or REAL debate among the populus. Even though the national conservative party AUR is now the biggest (40%+), it's too late because we missed the presidentials, (((they))) rigged the parliamentary election that is the most important one, so for 5 years we are fucked.
The biggest problem right now is the economy, which the current gov+ pres don't really want/need to fix because it contradicts their left-leaning position of "importing infinity indians, attracting foreign funds and creating debt"

AUR/or "suveranistii" (a poor term, poorly defined and poorly used by the left[think alt-right, in a way;but not the same ideology]) is not helping since the party/its voters have a lot of old boomers that are rightfully upset about the economy but then again come with commie rhetoric like "lolza it was better during communism"[which is false objectively, but i guess the burden is being felt since the economic model is different]. This is ofc not the fault of the party, but in politics optics define reality.

I recently did my first trip to Romania: Bucharest, Transfaragas, Brasov, Sibiu, Craiova. Amazing country, very nice people, amazing stolen Hungarian land. As expected, a lot similar to Bulgaria. Not as expected, much better in terms of infrastructure, and I mean light years ahead in terms of quality of roads, etc. I felt sad for my country and the fucking pigs who stole our last 15 years.
I just wanted to say I really like our neighbours, it's quite comfy.

Yeah it's good now, but that what exactly i used to say literally 10 years ago. Right now it's still tolerable, bud increasingly uncomfortable and the importing of jeets is still somewhat forced, which is good i guess but this may only be temporary.

Regardless, as long as we remain christian and preserve our anti-kikery and anti-degeneracy core beliefs we will be good. It's only the small part of the population + the corrupt leaders that undermine the will of the people that erode this trust we placed (that's why it's all-time low now).

Big cities might give you the wrong impression though, but yeah those probably feel "better". You're not that bad though, i recently learned that bulgaria has bigger storage capacity for electricity than romania, despire lower population.
Glad you liked it, i visited very briefly some cities in bulgaria at nighttime and what I can say is that it felt very "mediterranean-ish" in a good way , again at least during nighttime. Maybe the ex-commie vibes were there during the day though, could't tell.

Interesting stuff about Christianity, one thing that was curious were people actually going to church without it being Christmas or Easter. something that's not the case here even if people would say they're Christian. I don't think even 5 percent of Bulgarians are actually religious and have a clue what Christianity actually is.
