While I dislike the right sliding head first into cancel culture, I cannot deny how funny it is seeing the reaction of leftards that dont understand opsec. My favorite is the teachers.
People in such prominent positions of cultural and political influence are just so retarded that they post the most heinous things they can conjure online under their name and face on public profiles with all their friends watching and then they wind up with no advocates.
Is cancel culture a cancer on our society? Yes
Is the right being a bunch of candy ass cry babies right now? Yes
Is it funny watching propagandists and "educators" ruining their lives for no reason at all? Yes

as an ancient internetfag I still don't understand how we went from "don't put anything on the internet" to "put everything on the internet"

Agreed.
Also it's extremely obvious this is going to be used as a way to support government censorship. It's not a coincidence that the entire MIGA administration is pushing for laws against insulting Israel at the same time the right is busy cancelling people for wrongthink.

are you a new immigrant? this country values its teachers less than janitors. the right has been attacking the non-retarded for the past century. of course teachers in southern states are going to be targeted.

Teachers and propagandists who celebrate or encourage political assassinations SHOULD be fired.
Are you retarded?
This isn’t “muh cancel culture”, this is basic common sense.

Personally, I don't think cancel culture is a bad thing. Cancel culture is the gun/fist/violence of the internet. Previously, the internet was sort of a lawless wild west, where you could get away with anything. You could say anything with no repercussions, apart from someone calling you a stupid faggot or whatever. Which in all reality, has no real consequence. It's not like you could reach through the screen and punch them, either.
Now people can defend themselves against the speech of retarded faggots. Now you can reach through the screen and punch them, but not in the fact, in the wallet.

But, just like guns, and fists, people can misuse the tool of cancel culture and cancel people who are in no way deserving of it. Just like some faggot(s) misused guns to kill Charlie.

People are and should be allowed to celebrate someone they dont like dying. This is protected under freedom of speech.
Let's see the same energy for people who were cheering at the death of Osama bin Laden

Nowhere.

A major weakness of the right was not playing for power. Luckily the left taught us that, and it's the correct mindset.

There's no difference under the 1st amendment.
You're acting like most people are politicians who have to watch their words, they aren't. Most people talk candidly about events in the world.

Much like how the entire right wing was celebrating after those two Dem legislators got murdered, or after that Pelosi hammer thing.

Osama Bin Laden was an avowed enemy of the United States, commanding forces to kill Americans. It is the patriotic duty of every American to celebrate his removal as a threat. That is very different from a debatebro advancing political opinions through the Socratic method.
I may think Joy Behar, for example, is a spiteful cunt who has nothing to say worth being heard. I probably wouldn't mourn if she was permanently silenced. But I sure as hell wouldn't support the act, let alone publicly wish her colleagues/family suffer the same fate.

Only the retarded believe it’s a good idea to allow teachers and propagandists to use their position of influence to encourage or celebrate political assassination.
Only the retarded believe that the first amendment means that an employer can’t fire someone for encouraging or celebrating political assassinations.

Getting fired for social media posts is a skill issue.
Even if you make public edgelord posts, no employer would outright fire a good worker for that.
They don't want to deal with the hit to productivity, or coworker morale, and having to hire a replacement. Rather, they would just pull them aside, suspend them, discipline them in other ways, and make a short public statement.
Obviously, that is only IF the worker is hard working, well liked, and easy to work with.

You can argue that it is petty to report these bluehairs for their free speech. But I guarantee you that in nearly 100% of cases where they get fired, its less
>I really hate to let such a valuable worker go, but le cancel culture twitter mob has forced my hand
And more
>Thank God we finally got him on SOMETHING
