there definitely is, i know a couple, i also know a few who are hiding from the government (even still) so they wont get served papers. my in laws are actively planning what to do when one of my family members graduates, as i said before, you don't have a grace period in between semesters anymore to not get conscripted. they know people who have fought and gotten wounded there already.

I dont know anybody who got conscripted and sent to the meatgrinder. My life didnt change much since 2022. I got a pal who dropped out of uni in 2024 and ended up in military nearby St. Petersburg for a year. They were just wasting time there basically, patrolling the area and doing nothing useful, although they did a bit of shooting training.
