How have spics managed to turn spanish, an otherwise pretty classy european language close to french and italian, into a gross ghetto nigger language ? When latina politicians intentionally pronounce spanish words with the accent it makes my skin crawl.

You’re probably an American posing as a leaf, so I’ll explain. I can tell you’re uncultured or prolly a smelly Jeet, because Andalucian Spanish is the origin of that ghetto-ish manner of speaking. Last time I checked Southern Spain is in Europe. The way of speaking, shortening words, low-IQ cadence, and even the elimination of seseo is from Southern Spain, more precisely Andaluz. This way of talking expanded, by way of Spain conquering vast lands, to South America and the Caribbean. Not Mexico, because the Spanish way of speaking in Mexico (cadence, tone, all that) comes primarily from Nahuatl language (central Mexico, Los Angeles, Chicago), Mayan languages in Yucatan peninsula, and Jewish/Arab languages in Northern Mexico Southwestern US. Today, what you call ghetto-style Spanish can be still be strongly heard in countries Caribbean nations, Florida and New York. Not so much anymore in South America. Argentina for instance has its way of speaking from Italian and Asturian languages.

Re-reading a sci-fi series I enjoyed now that there are nine plus books in it. James S.A. Corey's The Expanse. It depicts Earth, Mars and the Belt as three fairly distinct subgroups. The most annoying thing about the series (especially the SyFy TV series) is Belter patois. The books don't lay it on with a trowel like the series does. But one thing is for sure. That patois is there not merely to distinguish the Belters from the rest, but to indicate that those who speak in that gutter dialect are low-class, low intelligence.

This. Also many places like schools and such wouldn’t have the budget for paying for color photographs. I remember black and white being cheaper ans easily accessible, and color was like the “deluxe” option. At least I can remember that in the 80s, I did not see that issue in the 90s. Also I had a wonky digital camera the size of a small lunchbox during the late 90s, it was a Mavica camera which stored photos in a small floppy disk. Granted I was always buying high-end stuff back when I was young, and always into tech.

This is especially bad in the states, where they speak english, but when they pronounce their last name they really roll the r's and lay on a heavy accent. it's so fucking cringe, i always pretend i can't understand them and make them say it in slow with an english accent. You don't get to pretend you're not some english white washed mutt when you pronounce your last name, as if it that makes up for you not having any culture other than wearing too much cologne or perfume, clubbing, and fucking like rabbits. if you love being mexican so fucking much then take your shit back to mexico you fucking jungle monkeys
