I'm sure many of them do think this, the problem is the real world is chaotic and acting on those thoughts can get you in trouble. For example look at what happened with Charlie Kirk. Another example of this pattern is how leftists are more likely to die to diversity than actual racists. You are often more likely to get killed by trying to extend an olive branch than by not giving a shit.
