Yeah... honours student here, school was easy, University was easy AF, just show up and pass the courses, I know it was hard for people around me, but I personally found it really easy to do and showed up to class more to socialize with girls then anything else, just read the notes, do the labs, write the tests, and wham passing and OMW to my STEM degree...

But the main thing I noticed was that it was indeed quite hard for many of the people attending. I cant really mince words here, I believe the reason they struggled so much with school was that they are not actually that bright.

And once they "suffer through the hardest 4 years ever!" they get a chip on their shoulders like now they can "prove" how much smarter then plebs they are. This is mostly in the "other" category of degrees though, people with hard science eng business med degrees are usually actually smart, although med has slipped a lot so maybe im wrong about that now.

Mean while I know far more in debt broke ass degree holders who are miserable and depressed.

Yeah, non-STEM degrees of any sort are usually too easy to get and usually held by retards. But proper, accredited STEM degrees are still a fairly valuable asset. I went from hovering around $150k with my bachelors to being vaulted in to a director position bringing in $225k. And I live in a place where the median income is only like $60k. I actually have both. Trades aren't all they're cracked up to be, you can make good money sure, but in exchange you give your body to the job. You end up with fucked knees, serious back pain, a ton of injuries and burns, and there's a much higher likelihood of being killed or seriously injured on a construction site as opposed to an office. If I could do my time over I would probably have gone into banking so I could make money by doing nothing.

Maybe read about the history of universities and see that uni's used to be a majority conservative because the teachers were majority conservative. The reason why there are so many liberal teachers is that they literally bitched and moaned about conservatives being too prominent in uni and demanded basically affirmative action for liberal teachers. It's also a fact, that in Uni, conservatives are better at estimating a liberals viewpoints, that a liberal is of estimating a conservatives viewpoints. This effect is more pronounced the longer that they are in Uni. Why do you think that the liberals would be more consistently wrong about a conservatives viewpoint, the longer that they are in Uni?

I am finishing my masters degree to check a corporate box. I am a hard conservative. There have been maybe 3 people in college that I thought were somewhat intelligent. College means NOTHING today (or for the past 40 years or so). I work with conservatives daily that do laser ultrasonic, metrology, director level business, metallurgy and more. Every one of them is smarter than 99.9% of the professors I have had in college and 100% smarter than the students.
