While Lord Miles lies dead, and while the memory of Charlie Kirk is being mocked by the usual useful idiots - Ukraine and Russia continue their bar brawl: FPV drones edition
>https://files.catbox.moe/al3x45.mp4
Both sides learn how to use and avoid the meta weapon that has yet to be nerfed - a $100 FPV drone with an attached primitive explosive device. The Russian drone operator in this video admitted that the Ukrainian drone operators are always active and dangerous.
These days the Urkainian and the Russian drone operators are the best on the planet. Once the war in Ukraine is over - every single one of them will earn a lot of money by teaching others how to use the cheap Ali-Baba drones with the maximum efficiency. The Bitcoin may fall tomorrow, the fiat currency might become worthless paper - but the real experience will always be valid. These guys - if they survive - will have an amazing retirement life.

it also weights fucking at least 60% moret

A naked M2A2 is 28 tons, with ERA its 31 tons, with hohols ERA ist probably 35 tons, and does littel to stop drones anyway.

BMP3M is 22 Tons with ERA, naked BMP3 is 18 tons.

Great video on Trump and Putin. Putin is not controlling Trump, Trump is not a Putin agent. However, president Trump has absorbed Putin's philosophy of "Putinism" and is becoming spiritually Putinist even if he does not realize it. This is a dangerous phenomenon that has been spreading across the world, other leaders like in Hungary have been infected with spiritual Putinism as well.

Our government in their infinite stupidity upgraded nothing inside it. All of the improvements were in protection. If you wanna know something funny they didn't even give any of the TES kits parts over to the ukrainian crews. There was an EW upgraded on it that could have been adjusted against drones but it simply wasn't given over.

your an idiot, if you would add 60% more weight into armor the BMP would be as good or even better armored than the M2A2.
Its a tradeoff, always has been.

The BMP3 is sufficently enough armored against shrapnell an small arms fire, same as the bradley with the bradly offering more protection buying it with more weight. Which brings a whole slew of problems on its own raning from logsitics to terrain moblity.

After FPV drones both suck armor wise and the other qualities remain, and in that regards the BMP3 is more versatile with its better armament that can be used in more different roles, even as inderict fire vehicle.

You can harp all day about armor, the conclict shows armor is now the least effective trait on vehicle when you have drones hitting weakpoints on the vehicles as hey like.

>I burst out laughing anytime anyone calls a BMP-2 better than a bradley
In my understanding, a significant factor that makes this or that weapon better is who operates it and in what capacity. The BMP-2 is ligher, which makes it more appropriate to be used in soft and wet soil. It's also cheper to build and to maintain. Lasty, it's not as much of a fuel guzzler as the Bradley. The lighter weight makes it so that it can more easily traverse farming countryside, or places where it rains a lot. The cheaper cost would make it attractive to countries with small military budgets, or those whose militaries are seeing cuts. The fuel thing, besides saving money, makes it more suited for it to be operated in places where a supply line isn't as secure, since it can go longer without being refueled.
>TLDR
The BPM-2 would fare better both in Brazil and the UK.

>START OF THE TAIWAN CAMPAIGN IN EARLY 2026

always have to laugh at that, china isn't going to invade taiwan, the most they will do will be a sea blockade and that will starve them out in less than a month, sucks when you an island nation and you are reliant on everything to be importet AND you are less then 200km away from your biggest enemy, while your gratest ally nearest base is 800km away.

In the end china will probably don't even do this, as they will just take it politcally. In 10-15 years they just will have done enough subversion and migration (with the decline of the none reprdoucing taiwan people) to take power politically.

>without upgraded communications or armor packages
Useless anyway, no tank was killed from a frontal hit to the glacis or turret faces anyway. pretty much all of them were taken out by hits on the engine bay, or turret roof and than later finished off by either flying drones inside the tanks or dropping granades cooking them off.

Even the most modern brapams didn't increase their armor on that points much.

The communications are maybe the biggest downgrade, but could the piggers even use it? They are still running tons of soviet gear, and tons of older nato gear that probably not even compatible with the latest and greatest communication devices anyway.

the only one who can make leopard 2 hulls is greece, specifically METKA and its only low volume.
At peak germany could curn out 40 hulls a month, so roughly 400-450 a year.
Now they can do nothing, but upgrade existing hulls.

All the new leopard variants you are seeing? They are hull either sent to upgraded or hull bought back by KMW to upgrade and resell them.

You 2A4s are getting upgraded to A8s, but only bit by bit, meaning we have to sent them our old ones and they sent us a new one, basically a 1:1 trade that costs us 28 million a pop.

It's the worst deal ever. Leopards are such an incredible bad platform.
You shouldn't buy any gear that isn't in production anymore unless you plan to immediately burn it in a minefield. It's just a bad investment. No new production means that maintenance is expensive and that a damage, that would otherwise be a minor repair, could be a total loss.

Why not add a shotgun as an underbarrel attachment to the standard Russian rifle? That can serve a dual use for both drone defense (for all soldiers), and can also be useful with room entering and clearing.

Which shotgun should they provide? Your grandpa's double barrel?

The real answer is that hitting a drone even from a shotgun takes a lot of skill and some luck. If you think just handing someone a Saiga-12 (or equivalent) and thinking
>ok job done
>no more drone threat
Then you are mistaken.

I hear that new contractors are being trained in how to defend (dodge) and kill drones, but that will always be a slow rollout.

because this conflict isnt about ukraine.. ukraine doesnt need to "win". its about trying to keep US world domination. and for that goal they want the EU-fags to bleed out as much as they want the russians bleed out. oinkraine is just another puppet state used as cannonfodder.

next cannonfodder will be the EU-fags. US would be fine with that - while they start the same shit over in taiwan...

the optimal scenario, collapse of the RF aside, for the US would be that the RF and the EU, maybe NATO erradicate themselves in a europe-only theater... while the US stays unharmed.

Lobnoye mesto (Russian: ะ›oะฑะฝoe ะผecั‚o) is a 13-meter-long stone platform situated in the Red Square in Moscow in front of Saint Basil's Cathedral.

Its name is derived from the Russian words for 'forehead' (lob) and 'place' (Mesto). In Old Russian lob meant 'a steep river bank'. The platform, believed to have been constructed in brick in the 1530s, was first mentioned in 1547, when Ivan the Terrible addressed the Muscovites from there. Subsequently, it was primarily used for announcing the tsar's ukazes and for religious ceremonies. Despite a common misconception,[1] the circular platform itself was never a place for executions. Sometimes scaffolds were placed by it, but usually public executions were carried out at Vasilevsky Spusk behind St. Basil's Cathedral.

In the Russian Empire, during Holy Week, the Palm Sunday procession called "donkey walk" would end at the Lobnoye Mesto where a depiction of Calvary had been erected. The Tsar himself, on foot to show humility, would lead the Patriarch of Moscow, who was seated on a donkey, in a procession from the city gates to Red Square.

Not what I meant. They're expensive, but 25 million a piece just fod that would be outrageous. It likely includes spare parts, maintenance and the like.
>combat record is awful
They did pretty decently as far as tanks go. None of them deal well with FPV drones and it has pretty decent crew survivability. We also saw some disabled ones without engines near the front, so even hohols managed to make use of the quick change power pack modularity.
The more questionable thing is probably that the upgrade includes neither a workable hard kill APS that's up to modern threats, nor at least a clear pathway towards integrating one when they become available. At least to my knowledge.

>>516599206
Helicopters seem to be by far the most suited platform to deal with slow, long ranfe strike drone spam. I wonder when they'll mount a fibreoptic laser to one for the first time, they already use ground based ones. I'm sure it will be integral to the design of upcoming helicopters.

>>516599386
Good comparison. I doubt there's many there at all. The Russian side also seems pretty thinly manned in that area. I wish we knew where the logistics to Lyman go through, but it has to be over the river from the south. Its not like they have ane good crossings over the Oskil further north either.
There's one just south of Kupkyansk (the earth damn with dat pipes in it kind), but that gets bombed so regularly it has to be of little to no use at this point.

The kikes have severed all ties to Putinโ€™s and call him a โ€œTraitor,โ€ even scrubbing his page/biography from the WEF site. your rich rulers and owners do not care about unemployment, 5% is as good as 20%, as long es they are in power and getting their strategic goals realized.

If the F35 managed to "intercept" or "repel" the Russians it is because the MiG 31 was casually cruising.
The F-35 has never reached mach 1.6, its claimed top speed.
They have tried mach 1.4 at which point parts of the aircraft started to melt.
The MiG 31 tops out at mach 2.8 in peace time, but can push beyond mach 3.

>At the Malan airfield in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on August 14, a Chinese UAV resembling the Caihong-7 was spotted on the runway, with a wingspan of about 43 m, one air intake, and an exhaust outlet. It is either this model or its further development. Previously, the drone was brought to the exhibition in Zhuhai in 2024.

it quite suffers since the projectiles in the game behave more like delayed hitscan
the radar lies a lot so you better get a feeling for leading the shots

you can spray down anything flying <640km/h without much issue tho faster aircraft will suck the life out of you unless you lead by a great chunk and have luck on your side

>why didn't Estonia shoot them down?
Besides Estonia simply not having the means to do so the answer is obviously that if you shot down planes for minor airspace infractions we would've turned the earth into a nuclear hellscape by the mid 50s. The RoE of all countries puts shooting down as pretty much the last option, after everything else has been exhausted or become unfeasible.
And this reptile is old enough to remember this. Warmongering cunts like this need to be sent to the bloodiest trenches.

I think MAGA would mold themselves to the new reality of invading Afghanistan again. When the airport bombing happened during Biden's botched evacuation I knew a MAGA boomer that was in tears saying we needed to invade Afghanistan again even though we were finally getting out.

>Pictured: Last engineer/technician who knows how to maintain Minuteman III missiles
Reminds me how Americans forgot how to make part of the inner layers of their minutemen nukes. Turns out that the advanced in manufacturing over the decades made the materials too pure, took years to figure out they had to reintroduce impurities that served a function (which wasn't documented at the time as they were unaware). Can't recall the details, but part of the problem during the investigation was that all the original engineers were dead or didn't understand why the newer liners didn't work

They don't respect a rule based world (where the US dictates everything, Eurocucks gets to pretend they are part of it)
