Bro I was proven right, I quit OG TBC in 2007 cause I called out how gay and disconnected it was from Azeroth, people hated on me and now that's all I hear people say about TBC, same with WotlK. Wrath was the first retail version of the game retard, TBC was at least somewhat old school with dungeon and raid design, Wrath was pure horseshit and it only got worse. Cata and now MoP new servers have been failures, they already had to do a MoP server merge and that shit just came out. And don't get me started on retail . .absolute piece of shit waste of a game made by scumbag losers

I haven't even played it in about a year, but Turtle WoW is bretty good for vanilla WoW nostalgia. Talent trees are like they were when they finally unfucked them with the Naxxaramas patch, with some changes/improvements. They've added quite a bit of dungeons and raids too, I haven't played most of them but the ones I have were pretty good at following the vanilla flavor.

Talking about group finder in Wrath? It's ok, that was the transition to "retail" ie dumbing down of the game, it all became about speed speed speed, go in, don't talk, kill everything, drop group.

The best version of WoW to ever come out was Phase 1 of SoD. Phase 1 lasted 2 months with a level 25 level cap and no mounts available. Everything was slow but it was amazing, it was the first great MMO experience I had since original WoW, seeing everyone running around was great. Mounts and even worse flying mounts are lame and gay.

I had a blast playing season of discovery, doing much of the content I had too much of a life to do, back in 2005, but blizzard totally shat the bed and it would take a lot to ever provide any funds for that company.
Been thinking about heading back to EverQuest project 1999 to blow off some MMO steam but I haven't yet. Really would like to find some new Ultima Online server but idk if anyone's out there...

Grinding Shadowfang Keep to find greens and blues to earn gold from the auction house was so fun, phase 2 was such a failure and beyond even worse, everything those hacks touched made shit worse. Phase 1 was great because of how little they touched in it and the pvp was still balanced.

Wow classic has the most toxic community out of any MMO in existence. Yeah, I haven't played the modern OSRS, but I played actual old-school Runescape and it was shit. In my experience, it was played exclusively by kids whose parents wouldn't buy the subscription for Runescape, FF11, or later, WoW. Nobody who could play a subscription MMO played RS because it was clearly inferior. The one advantage was that, at least in our school, it wasn't blocked on the school computers, so you could play it in computer class.
