But it makes the program unfeasible unless they absolutely cannot find an employee with a highly specific skillset from the entire national workforce. Sure. If the difference in paying a forgiener vs a local is greater than than a 6 figure salary. There is salary difference between forgien and domestic workers but not many fields where American workers command a greater than 100k salary difference outside some high level tech, finance, healthcare, and engineering jobs and even in those fields entry and mid level don't have such a huge salary difference. Companies aren't likely to eat losses when they don't have to and ceos that do, like if they're practicing jeet nepotism for instance, are likely to have to boards remove them if their practices are costing the company money. Doctors and surgeons, not tech, are the main feild I don't expect to see much change in. It's a high enough salary field with enough real demand it will still likely be worth it to hire skilled forgien workers.
