the wef is essentially using capitalism to go around the anti-intellectual indian government. with globalism, indians who do well in school (iq proxy) have the opportunity to absorb the western cultural norms which create a stable society of responsible adults (barring all the crooks in western governments). this system was supposed to pass down that essential knowledge so that you could turn your country around, using democracy (cringe, i know), but that didn't happen. instead, you guys leaned INTO populism. sure, populism isn't inherently bad, especially when the populace is educated and open-minded (to the extent that open-mindedness doesn't create extraneous friction). but it's a recipe for disaster when religious fundamentalism gets a grip on politics. if you need proof, look at the countries around you.
the economy is a rube goldberg machine being prodded, nudged, and finagled by legislation and policy. the world isn't a place where people (peasants) "deserve" anything. everything was balanced on agreements made in good faith, between honest people with moral sensibilities, but now everything relies upon the whims of ancient cults and their capability to 1) control selfish old bastards who are solely interested in their own legacies; and 2) employ glowniggers
