Trent was always a debby downer.
Good audio production, but his lyrics are literally, "Poor little me."
I went through an edgy phase and had all his albums and singles.
They're in a box somewhere.
I stopped listening in the late 90's because his lyrics were too ridiculous.
I did, however, like the Lost Highway OST; he did a great job producing that.
Some of his later stuff was nice enough that I kinda liked it.
Maybe he's making more positive music now.
I don't know and don't care.
Art should be beautiful and be oriented toward Good.
There is a place for edgy music.
I'm only saying that Trent's 90's stuff was basically well crafted nihilistic nonsense.

I think edgy music is kinda necessary even. It's good for people that don't fit in to listen to edgy music that also doesn't really fit in.
