That's exactly the amount Trump printed in early 2020.
Now prepare for $20 per kWh, as AI can make better use of electricity than humans.

Energy cost is going up by an order or magnitude towards agenda 2050. Take your energy bills, fuel and natural gas if applicable and add a zero to that number. It will most likely mean a lowered standard of living for most.

Thanks to my ancestors for creating Hydro-Québec. 5 cents electricity feels good. Look at our godly dam. 1000MW of freedom.

Also thanks for americans for lending us the money to buy the old ontarian companies when we nationalised electricity because our angloids wouldn't lend us some bread. Bunch of cunts.

Look up how many data centers Google, Facebook, openai opened since 2022. The costs is given to the avarage consumer for the higher demand

We're at near 100% capacity, and a lot of that capacity is gobbled up by AI and datacenter operations.

2021 is where the big jumps in consumption happened, which is coincident with the investment event. It has only grown since as companies are trying to consolidate energy use contracts for their own operations. Any shortfall caused by this gets passed down to the regular consumer.

The biggest hurdle of highly parallelized computing is not compute throughput, but energy consumption. The US is nearing full capacity and cannot expand in its current state.

China completely overbuilt their power infrastructure by over 2x and are trying to figure out how to use it. They've already banned crypto mining and even their state-sponsored GPU and AI chip smuggling operations don't put a meaningful dent in it.

It does make me think though. With such an enormous energy surplus like this, where would they use it? I'd imagine that exporting energy would be profitable, not to mention it gives them very powerful political leverage if a country becomes too dependent upon that supply.

>Big tech and inefficient pajeet code are costing Americans a massive amount of money in increased energy costs.
The worst part is that Americans are paying higher electricity costs only for pajeets and subhumans to generate scam sites, fake product launch videos, and shit on the internet street.

where did you get this idea? in 2021 they had severe issues due to inability to cover all the demand. it was so bad they had to shut down factories for several months in 20 provinces.
