BREAKING: Trump's $100k fee will only apply to NEW H1B visas
https://archive.is/89mbt
All the jeets currently here will get to stay. And further, this seems to indicate that it will only be a one-time fee (i.e., only ~$17k/year for the jeet's 6-year stay).

And any visa renewals for existing h1b visas. Its an annual fee. Current holders will have to pay the $100k 12 months after the date is issued.

Gay, but the $60k->$150k wage floor raise still effectively kills h1b for entry level jobs which is the worst aspect

The Trump administration’s new $100,000 application fee for the widely used H-1B visa program will only apply to new visas, the White House said Saturday.
The fee will not apply for those who already hold or are renewing their H-1B visas, a White House official said, speaking on condition of anonymity. Axios first reported the detail.
People who were selected in this year’s H-1B lottery and whose visas will become effective on Oct. 1 would not have to pay this fee.
The visas are highly coveted by some of America’s largest companies seeking to bring in skilled workers from abroad.

According to who?

>US official says
However the actual text of the proclamation indeed shows that it's for EXISTING H1B's as well.

Careful what you believe, OP.

Read the text, it applies to everybody.

It won't apply to them either. It will have been walked back by the time FY 2026 visas get issued.
The whole thing is just leverage against india, to get them to distance themselves from China, and bait for gullible magatards.
How has nobody learned how Trump operates by now? He's done this so many times and yet magatards still fall for it.
