I think he is wrong about the magnetic clas being the projectile, that would be wildly unreliable and unpredictable. But if there was a shaped charge in the battery (which is totally possible) then there could be a small projectile in that, or the charge itself might be sufficient.
On the other hand, this would require someone to either fit the audio on him to be sure it worked the right right, or for Kirk to be trained to fit it a particular way, neither of which seem like a very sure thing.
All of these alternative theories require Tyler Robinson tobe part of a psyop, which will be an uphill struggle to prove.
If it is true then the medical exam would reveal ballistic and perhaps chemical information, assuming it hasn't been tampered with. Yet again I wonder why the hell it takes 4-6 weeks to generate an ME report since the autopsy was clearly performed within 48 hours of his death and his body returned to the family.
