Yes, and it is very revealing if you are not a God-trusting person. You would take much weight on the word of a friend, and if he breaks that word, he is less of a man. He doesn't deserve your trust anymore. If you put so much weight on the word of a fellow mortal man (assuming you do), why would you not trust in the Word of God? it is self-evident in a way, the bible is its own measurement. Only the true God has the power to give us His word in written form, I trust Him in that. He (the truth) would not allow "someone else" to coopt His name (the truth) over thousands of years.
This is the Book that I hold in my hands in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ 2025, I trust that this really is God's word, yes.
