I like glock as much as the next guy but saying you love them is npc shit. Glock's are the toyota corolla of pistols. They're a shooting appliance. Nothing about them is moving or stirring. They're simple, boring, sterile, and reliable. It's why they make great service sidearms. Even as much as I dislike them (toggle lock is the most stereotypical overengineered german meme operating principle possible) even the luger p08 is 1 million times more aesthetically pleasing than a glock. The 1911, the Hi-Power, the SAA, the pp and ppk, shit, even the little piece of shit tt-33 are just a few examples of pistols that have more soul in their magazine release catches than the glock does in the entire design.

If you knew your gun would be confiscated and get "lost" from police evidence locker, you might be inclined to buy a glock, however this only matters if you survive and dont hit bystanders. Only hits count. Eventually you come to this conclusion and if you actually fired one, you'd understand.

There's definitely more than 500M guns here. The 400M/120:100 guns to people ratio is from 2014. Since 2008 Americans have bought, on average, 20M guns a year. Some years less, some years more, but avg about 20M/yr. That's 17 years of 20M guns or 340M guns. If we just count from 2014 because that's welhen the 400M gun number was tabulated, that's still 220M gubs, or 620M guns total in 2025. That's just 4473 trackable sales. It doesn't include the almost unknowable number of 80% kits built before BATFE decided a lump of metal is also a gun. It doesn't include that absolutely incalculable number of 3d printed guns being run off of a near infinite number of $250 Ender 3s and 5s right now. That number is closer to a billion than it is to 500M.

Remember, Luigi, the right bear arms is not unique to the US or any country, it is a natural right of all people necessary to ensure the personal autonomy we all have the right to. These are basic human rights. If your country, or in the US if your state has decided to infringe upon your human rights, it is your duty to seek change against such tyranny.

It's the bullet, brass, powder, reload dies, and quality gauges that serve a cluster of calibers. 45 is a joy to reload. 38/357 is a joy. 5.56 not so much but economics make it necessary. 9mm seems like it would be fussy and then you want to automate it and then the investment goes up for a caliber that does not float my boat. That being said, some shooters I know reload everything by the bucket, it becomes it's own pasttime.

I know my burger friend. What EU outsiders fail to realize is that the problem here is not the big brother state that has laws against it and gives you a hard time. Lots of laws change over time or are disregarded. The problem is the general mindset and consensus of the citizens; Meloni is not there in a big brother room with a magnifying lens watching what I do from a satellite. However is anyone around me hears I am pro guns, the jewish programming activates and lashes out hard. I had people tell me they would have killed me if they could, because I am a bad person for wanting guns to defend myself from people who want to kill me... Talking about mental gymnastics

Yeah, that's just my estimate based on available data and being quasi-involved in the 3dprinting community. I know how many I have because they all have a pretty dedicated purpose. A couple o' LARP rifles. A couple of sporting/hunting rifles in various calibers according to game intended. A couple of shotguns. A couple of handguns. My EDC is actually a G4 G19 because like I said in my first post here, they are boring and reliable. Glocks are shooting appliances. It's why they make good service pistols. Sometimes I carry an SAA but only if I know it's unlikely I'll need it because I'm going to whitetown, white county, whitemerica, but I always carry so it's more of an afterthought.

>are high end pistols worth it?
Depends what you're doing. For EDC not really. For that you want the best functioning, most reliable pistol in your budget. Boutique guns come with boutique problems. For high end competitive shooting or other activities, certainly. Competitive is basically a pay to win sport.

Concord, Mass 1774. Your forefathers came to take guns from a village, their armory. They shot a citizen along the way. At the armory, the were met by a Militia made up of deer hunting citizen shartshooters who counter attacked them in a non-stop rolling ambush all the way back to Boston Harbor where they had to hide on their ships. Thus began a war that ended with America shaking off your little island for good. Who rules the waves now? America does. UK could hardly beat Argentina.

reminder that gun control failed and you should:
if you can buy spent ammo casings, buy and hoard them, this is a major bottleneck
if you can't buy spent ammo casings (illegal, brazil/japan/south korea), get a 3d printer (you'll need it anyway) and a reisn filament, 3d print resin filament ammo casings for the caliber of choice (9x19mm)
if you can buy primers without a license, get small pistol primers, many of them, if you can't buy primers get antimony trisulfide (if you can't buy antimony trisulfide in its pure form, buy antimonite/stibnite, it's the same thing), potassium chlorate, shellac, alcohol, you'll need this to reload spent primers, if you don't even have spent primers you'll have to press them from thin metal or 3d print a special resin pole and cover it with solidifed H-48 compound you get by mixing antimony trisulfide and potassium chlorate (do not mix more than 30 grains it explodes violently)
if you can get nailgun blanks, get them, if they're not designed to misfire you will be able to extract the priming compound out of them and skip the antimony trisulfide, if you have them you can also extract fast burning nitrocellulose gunpowder from them
if you can't get nailgun blanks just mix black powder from freely available sulfur charcoal and potassium nitrate, black powder is more than enough to reach lethal muzzle velocities
if you can buy jacketed bullets, buy them, otherwise, buy a bullet mold and cast them from lead (LRN is even more lethal because its soft and will expand on its own)
this is all you need to make ammo
then you buy a 3d printer, either a 8mm (if you do ECM) or 9mm (if smoothbore) inner diameter 16mm outer diameter steel pipe, AR-15 FCG springs (bend your own if you dont have them), glock magazine (3d print if you cant buy it, you'll have to bend the magazine spring)
some metal rods for the bolt, you'll need an arc welder
a tube of jb weld or its alternative
some nuts and bolts and some other readily available stuff

Have a recommendation for a good single stage press? Similarly small sized support gear? I'd prefer new to be honest. It really is space that's the problem, not money.

America has been in a full shooting civil war for over 20 years but one side didn't know it. Now they know it. We also have an occupation Tel Aviv government since 1965 and that is losing control of key institutions, courts, universities, military. So now it's the technocracy vs. Globojew vs. JesusInc and a few patriot crackpots for fun. Good times.

RCBS or Lyman or other for press, single stage. Some guys like Lee but I only use their excellent depriming die and RCBS for all other dies. Look for used press, on FB marketplace or Ebay. Buy a new scale. Generic vibratory thing from harbor fright. These are the basics. I am not expert. /k can help you.

if you need to kill a single person you can make a single shot muzzle loading nailgun blank powered gun.
you will need a pipe and a trigger assembly. granted, you need power tools for that but it will work 100% of the time and will be as lethal as a factory pistol but you need access to good enough nailgun blanks.
nailgun blanks are not created the same. the police poisons the nailgun blank supply by forcing the manufacturers to decrease the priming compound measure so that the blanks misfire so that they're not used in homemade guns. in Russia and China all domestic blanks are shitty. but if you have access to Hiltis you should be fine
always get the strongest blanks, they cost the same but stronger ones have more gunpowder

the only reason to have a gun and train with guns is to kill someone else

Our leaders will always use dishonest arguments against firearms because it's in their own interest that people keep being disarmed. Right now they're coming after our cars, our cash and our freedom of speech. All because we've surrendered our guns first and most men have consequentially become pantsies.

Most people who say that they're Glock fans are customizing them from A to Z. All concurrents have better products right out of the box, for a similar price or even cheaper. The HUGE aftermarket is why they're still the leaders.

Idc what others say, my Lee turret was super cheap, is compact since you have all the tools on the rotating turret, and it's more than good enough to reload 9mm. You may need something better to reload rifle rounds if you want match accuracy though.

refer to your firearm as a pistole, rifle, etc.
so tired of everything being a "gun"
look at a what a gunboat is and ask yourself if a pistol or rifle or whatever else should be called 'a gun'

>Highest taxes - lowest services
>most laws, impossible for a common citizen to do almost anything - free roaming mafia and boomers conducting the show
>people getting killed daily in big cities by illegals - I still know nobody against welcoming them
>and yes, we make combat helicopters, military vehicles, guns, tactical gear - everybody has their philosopher hat on about how weapons for defense are primitive and evil

A poem in the style of Dr Seuss, written by the ChatGPT AI:
***
Shooty shooty pew pew pew!
Let's all learn what guns can do!
Liberals in the USA
Love to nod their heads and say,
"You bought your guns from a store!
You can't fight a civil war!
Fight the army, you will lose!
They have jets and tanks to use!"
That's not where the story ends!
They have homes, and kids, and friends!
Tyrants threaten you with bombs?
Just remember: they have moms!
You can't live inside your jet!
Can we find you? Yes, you bet!
You send soldiers and marines
Up against AR-15s?
They're outnumbered ten to one.
That is why I need a gun.
Don't forget, because it's true:
Government is scared of you.
