People say the internet isn't real life, and that people in the real world don't care about the internet. That's partially true. It's also a red herring.
It's the people on the internet being obsessive weirdo politicos that direct nearly all of the campaign funding, do nearly all of the campaign activism, and influence nearly all of the traditional media too. It's the people on the internet being obsessive weirdo politicos who decide who gets nominated in the primaries, months or sometimes years before the primaries officially occur. It's the people on the internet being obsessive weirdo politicos who decide the Overton window and the viability of every candidate who runs.
Normies, going about living their lives, without a care in the world about politics, they just show up to vote for whoever their obsessive weirdo politico influencers tell them to vote for, from a choice between those candidates chosen by the obessive weirdo politicos from both parties. Normies don't decide anything, the 40% on one side does what their 5% tells them, and the 40% on the other side does what their 5% tells them. Then the remaining 10% of discerning swing voters decide the actual results, picking and choosing which side's obsessive weirdo politicos is most persuasive.
Everyone who actually matters in the system does know who Nick Fuentes is, or Candace Owens. And for better or ill, they're obsessed with them, and making decisions because of them, either for or against.
