The crucifix is an old roman torture and execution device. It's not something to worship, it's not a good thing it's a bad thing. Europeans used it to kill people. The Christian mind is so warped that they see hope and peace in a symbol of death. It does symbolically fit the Christians worldview though, that this life has no worth other than worshipping a figment of their mind so that they go to heaven when they DIE. They find meaning only in the deity and no inherent meaning in life. All Christians, all sects, are an affront against life. They would die on a cross to get to heaven, they would have their heads cut of their bodies so they can meet their Jewish god. This death cult, this apathetic mindset towards life, this is what must me opposed. We must find sanctity in life itself not in a mental figment in a collective imagination. If you love life, humans, and treasure your time on this earth you should oppose Christianity and their death symbols. Their morality is based on death while my morality is based on life, we are diametrically opposed.

In Christianity, the cross is a symbol of self denial. To put God's will above your own.
Jesus told us to deny ourselves and take up our personal cross. This means we need to deny our sinful temptations, reject the secular culture of the world, and repent.

That word was was taken from the words from Greek "Stauros" and "xylon." The Gospel writers all use xylon to refer to the staves or clubs that the mob carried when they came to take Jesus. (See Matthew 26:47, 55; Mark 14:43, 48; Luke 22:52.) The same word was used to describe Christ impaled on a Xylon, or a wooden club/stick.

They also used the word "Stauros" for Christ as well. Stauros means tree, pole, stake, pile where as Xylon just means wood. What you need to be aware of is that the idea of "cross" back then only meant stick and pole. Not two crossed sticks together. In fact, that's how the Romans use to execute prisoners, on poles, not actual crosses.

The concept of using a cross comes from Pagan religions. They used crosses in their religions so the apostates of the ancient world adopted it, like Christmas, to make it easier to convert pagans.
