Back in the pre internet days it was much more difficult to encounter the knowledge required to modify a gun into an MG, so most illegal machineguns were smuggled into the country. So posessing a machinegun could imply you're in bed with a serious arms smuggling crime syndicate. Nowadays they're buying plastic switches for their glocks from the Chinese who market them as airsoft parts.

as a person who enjoys practicing the art with pistols, rifles and other thing.

if one were to want to get into a gun-fight, bring a suppressed PCC, not a pistol - a pistol is a backup plan

Yes, you can fill it with sand and it still cycles an entire mag like nothing is wrong. The tolerances are such shit that it will still cycle casings in and out even with sand and mud ON the casings. At first I wasn't a big fan of PCCs. The point of submachineguns is having full auto in a small package, remove that and they're basically pointless. The CZ Evo 3 has a very heavy trigger out of the box, some trigger work is basically required. It's not very interesting imo. But most AR9s are fine these days, I've even tried a Turkish Derya DZ9 the other day, it was great especially for the price point (less than 1000€), and it takes Glock mags so it's perfect for parts compatibility. Lots of very good PCC options these days. Even Ronin kits are nice if you have 30 rounds Glock mags.

Too many of us are used to the idea that if you play by the rules, then so will everyone else.
