It depends on the specifics, how high it is and which types of income or wealth etc. But some would definitely go, but some wouldn’t. As I said it’s probably appropriate, but it has to be done in fair and realistic manner. Sadly most people either won’t implement it or go overboard with it and crash the economy. There are even better ideas beyond that. Perhaps they can decide what happens in their local districts with some amount of their money in terms of projects or get a road redone and name it after them. A few them are quite intelligent and don’t want to pay, because they get that it will just be used towards nefarious ends and getting in more foreign free loaders to a significant degree.
