Is it time for the US to sell the national parks to private investors in order to help close the budget deficit? This could raise trillions.

You just gotta be a jew to even think that.

Well, we're going to have a civil war and all the land in North America will become the property of the American Revolutionary Government afterwards, so it's a clever scam. Ultimately unnecessary though.

I'm not saying I like losing the parks, but it's becoming a financial necessity. Like a family that over-spends and has to sell off some luxury items to get back in the black.

private investors wouldn't pay all that much for the parks unless they could redevelop the land. in the current state their operating profits aren't enough.

there are far better pubicly-owned lands that could be sold for development, and they should be. there's literally no reason to even consider doing so in national parks.

The example in the photo is a good one. Crater Lake is very far away from cities and difficult to access, particularly in winter. It is one of the most difficult parks to operate as a result and that's why it's not more popular despite being one of the most spectacular natural features in the country (it is cooler than you think). No private investor would buy it because the numbers don't pencil out.

I got a better idea:
1) no welfare for non whites
2) that includes jews in israel

Fuck no. The Feds need to give the land back to the families they stole it from in the 1920s.

This awesome beast was about 40' from me. Staring back as I stared at him. It was an awesome moment, and a highlight of my life. He was a juvenile male, large, but not yet huge. Calm, but wary. Part of a herd of about 30. This was last Tuesday in Hayden Valley, Yellowstone. You need to visit our National Parks. It will change your life.

Or, just keep the parks and take the money of the "private investors."

No, there isn't much to gain from it. Majority of the profit would maybe come after the purchase of the land. But really only as much as a small town outputs due to its distance away from pretty much anywhere. Amy large corp that buys it up for mining would get it for cheap.
>>518589485
This. Theres tons of empty land here in the US near city centers or small towns and it still doesn't get bought up despite its proximity to civilization (potential economy and workforce). Building in the middle of nowhere makes little sense when also having to account for finding someway to get plumbing, electricity, phone signal, wifi, food, etc.

Why don't we just sell all of the slaves we've been importing since the 60s? Do you think that is where ICE is taking them all?

National parks and forests are for tracking known wendigos and other creatures still lurking in the woods. If you read any of the 411 cases the government always seems to swoop in and expand their territory after a disappearance. Search parties are also always supervised. Devils own our government and the world.

The amount of money going to national parks is tiny. Trivial. It's best just to cut SSI and military spending.

Wizard Island in the middle of Crater Lake is the next peak building up from below.

Very spooky to ride the boat out and walk around. Beautiful...but also unsettling.

At least that island isn't active like White Island. You wouldn't catch me anywhere near White Island. 2019. 47 people. 22 killed 25 injured. Better them than me. Auckland is on a volvanic plateau and it's common knowledge that an eruption is in the mail. Pompeii II Electric Boogaloo. What a terrible place to live.

Very cool fren, I love those guys. I recommend checking out Theodore National Park in ND. I did back country camping there and saw many bison herds and would come across some as I would hike and step away and let them pass. So beautiful to see a herd go by up close. Badlands in SD has a lot too but TRNP was some of the best bison encounters I've ever had.
