If you want to know the secret of trading it can be summed up briefly. Basically "use the martingale". It will eventually fail if you use it gambling but in something like the stock market it can't fail.

Put a chunk of your money into a stock you have absolute confidence will go back up no matter what in the long term. Lets say 5000$ into nvidia. If the stock goes up you made money, congrats. When it goes down drop another 5k on the stock. If it goes down again on a different day put another 5k down and so on. The trick is to lower the average price of the shares your in the market at so when it does eventually go back up it doesnt take as much of a rise to make your money back. Oh and never sell ever, thats timing the market and time in the market beats timing the market every time.
