>coping with the reality of never being able to sleep with a thin woman let alone an attractive one
Ok let me count. I'd say from the ~45 women I've slept with, there's about 7 or 8 I'd call really slim, fit and super attractive. One of them is my current girlfriend.
What helps is that it's not just the women that are getting fatter and less attractive in modern society, but the men are even worse. Just being in good health is an accomplishment, given all the shitty additives in food you have to dodge, the trouble you have to go through to block out light from all kinds of sources in the evening for normal sleep, the kind of exercise you need to have alongside working your ass off to make ends meet.
So, just being in good health makes you a target for women, you stand out 100x more than you would in the 90s. Now if you're exceptionally healthy and fit, you're basically one in a million nowadays and just being out in public makes you like the beacons of Gondor for women.
Luckily, I'm a neuroscientist who helps people with ADHD, autism, BPD, bipolar disorder, etc. function better in day-to-day life and hold down jobs, and I do research and try to shape policy. So the same knowledge that provides me with an income and lets me keep a roof over my head, is what I can use to figure out how to live, what to eat, what supplements to take, how to exercise, when to exercise, etc. At the same time, I'm using it all to help my gf be the best that she can be, figure out her own biology, her own mind, harness herself. She's already glorious and there's so much more in there.
