The meat situation in USA is so bad, Europeans can not comprehend. Walmart ground beef is literally watered down, a bag of mush, breaks apart as you cook it because of that, and for 3lb of it they want $19. Our chicken is inedible tasteless playdoh textured stuff because they soak it in ammonia for hours, something no other country does, not to mention its fucked with in other ways. The pork is 100% inedible, you will experience headaches and illness very quick by eating American pork, it's pure toxic waste somehow. Let's ignore the fish, it's "okay". But outside of beef/chicken/pork you CAN NOT GET any other meat than those 3 in USA, they aren't available. That's all that's sold. You can not buy lamb, goat, rabbit, or whatever other meats Europeans eat that we don't.

Hard to believe 6 years ago it was 3x better (price, quality, etc) but even then was already 3x worse than 20 years prior. Pork became completely inedible toxic waste somewhere around 10 years ago, now it's far beyond that.

What about getting your own ol' mcdonald farm and IAOUE your own meat? I mean, if I had money why would I rely on buying products from producers that doesn't care about quality instead of growing my own shit? Recently I've saw a company on Instagram that sells a farming tower that helps grow crops on your own garden and it is practical and incredible how much healthy greens you can have in such a small amount of space. The chicken legs I have always bought, turned out to be basically rubber, they were inedible and that was the last time I bought chicken. Ground beef or beef/pork mixture is mush and breaks apart.
So I've only bought steaks and 500 grams of beef or pork which I use to make soup.
If you want cheap and nutritious food for a few days, make ground beef with taco spice and mix it with mac&cheese, add some peas, corn and bell peppers. I make a pot of that stuff every week, pretty easy to make. Adding some ketchup on top of it makes it near perfect.

Only beef is doing bad. Pork is doing ok in the states, chicken is fine. Op is a shill

Goat and sheep meat is pretty hard to come by in finnish shops too. You would have to find a grocery store with some local produce from some eccentric farmer living nearby.

Ground beef is barely even meat. If you want the best pieces you buy tenderloin (sisäfilettä). Yes its expensive but it is the best part of cattle and pigs.
