There's literally nothing wrong with a planned economy, especially when it comes to industries and public works projects of national importance. Corpokikes do it all the time, they just call it something like (((annual revenue projections))) instead. With modern computing and especially AI, you should be able to plan much more accurately than ever before and adjust projections on the fly based on unforeseen circumstances (i.e. Ever Given blocking up the Suez and fucking up the global supply chain).
