I train hunting dogs and Training dogs with e collars are standardized. There are different ways to do it some people just use it as an oh fuck button to stop theor dog from killing themselves or a cat or something at high levels, if you know what your doing you can use it for a lot of different methods where its not a negative punishment. My wife and son wanted one for our dog because be barked to much. Poor dog was only responding to the neighbor. I agreed, but before the poor doggo wore it they had to be zapped at full intensity. The dog never wore it but we did have a good laugh zapping the piss out of each other after it arrived.
