It does seem nuts that dual citizens are tolerated in government administration or anywhere near sensitive government information and infrastructure. What is dual citizenship, if not a blatant conflict of interest?
I see no solution other than barring dual citizens from these positions. Requiring them to sign loyalty pledges is demeaning and if push came to shove such pledges wouldn't be worth the paper they're printed on anyway.
