This should probably teach people that they shouldn't be playing with leverage in markets so dominated by absurd smart contracts and massively borrowed money that can cause massive 30-60% instantaneous corrections and empty liquidity pools that it makes trading micro futures contracts on the mini Sneed and Piss 500 spreads look safe.

stock and crypto is not real money until you try to sell it. it's completely fantasy money until you sell it. if you're holding a shitload of crypto waiting for it to go higher and higher then it drops and you "lose", you're just retarded. you should have sold when you stood to make an acceptable profit.

Call options and other stockbro bullshit mean you can bet it all on a 5% increase over the next week and if the opposite happens you go bankrupt no matter what happens the week after that. They're not satisfied with 5xing over a few years, or missed the chance. They treat securities like a casino and blow their brains out when the coin lands on tails because they'd have to wageslave a decade to get that kind of initial investment to try again with.

Gold price slid in line with the Sneed and Piss 500 down around 2 percent at the same time.
Gold is already crawling back up to ATH and the SP500 is closed until Tuesday where it will probably recover now that China cucked out. Something... Interesting is happening to crypto ATM. It could revert back to "normal", but still, a lot of people lost their ass on margin calls that can't be recovered.
There's still plenty of free cash for shit to flow into it's just a matter of what? Crypto got hit hard, but maybe that's shaken some trust into it compared to precious metals and just normal markets. We'll have to see on Tuesday.

Because crypto trading like they do is more day to day, volatile and likely were overleveraged then were margin called. Can be very profitable but also lose money. Ytd even before the crash silver had out preformed btc. Crypto has its place but the risk outweighs the potential gains going too much into it now. Ill keep it at like 5% of my portfolio and just buy dips like this.

its basic narcissism. All of their self-worth is tied up in how they are richer/more popular/have more toys than regular people. For a while they can cover the gnawing empty void inside them with these surface things but sooner or later they have to feel it and it totally consumes them.

>Doesn't know about leverage
If you just rode bitcoin since it was at $5k eight years ago and had put in $100k you'd only be at $2.4 million. The vast majority of the people who got really roch off bitcoin used leverage. When it does well you look like a fucking genius and rake in cash, when it does poorly you're out almost all your investment.

Thered a difference between traders and investors anon. Investors manage risk and hold for a long time to capture normal market increase; traders try to predict a chaotic market for short term trades often on the margin.
