Most people have this false trinitarian concept and think there was a father in heaven and a son in heaven, and then the father was talking to the son in heaven saying "my son, go down there and incarnate", that's not what happend. Nobody has ever demonstrated the substance/energy of the nervous system turning into thoughts. If they did, it would just mean that consciousness becomes matter/energy and vice versa, which means you'll never die you'll just become something else.

In reality consciousness is channeled by the nervous system. Since none of the energy or matter in the nervous system at any point turns into thought, it's clear that consciousness is not a product of the nervous system. Since it's not a product of the nervous system, it's clearly not bound to it.

After 18 years of believing the Bible, I woke up last week and realized I just don't believe any of it.
The reality is Judea was full of messianic figures around that time.
Jesus promised that some of those with him wouldn't taste death before his return. This clearly didn't happen as there are still Christians waiting for his third coming. By the Old Testaments own metric, he is a false prophet.
The whole New testament reads like a series of revisions to make up for the fact that what was supposed to happen didn't happen.
But it isn't about reality, it is about faith. And I realized that while Christianity served a purpose in my life for many years, eventually it was just maladaptive.
So I'm going back the the religious practices of my ancestors.
