His nephew and son-in-law was Menachem Mendel Schneersohn, the third rebbe of Chabad (Schneersohn married his first cousin)
Menachem was succeeded by his 7th and youngest son, Shmuel Schneersohn, who became the fourth rebbe of Chabad
Sholom Dovber Schneersohn, the second son of Shmuel, succeeded his father to become the fifth rebbe of Chabad
His only son, Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn, succeeded him to become the sixth rebbe of Chabad
Yosef did not have any sons. The daughter of Yosef, Chaya Mushka Schneerson, married Menachem Mendel Schneerson, a first-born son and direct patrilineal descendant of the third Chabad rebbe, his namesake.

The latter Menachem Mendel Schneerson did not have any children.
