almost none of it is dedicated to the bible. usually the pastor will take one verse and say it, then spend 10 minutes telling a completely unrelated story about his own subjective experience of something happening in his life. its so low effort. theres nothing spiritual about any of it. it all comes off as rather desperate, cringe, and unnecessary. people attend more as a social event, the old boomers and the like, rather than as anything remotely spiritual. i feel sorry for them. alot of them looked depressed and generally not really invested in the singing and praying and all of that.
