American pronunciation feels more natural and easy on the ears.

When I listen to British English, it sounded stiff,clunky, and dull compared to the smooth, flowing sound of American English.It sounds awkward and hesitant, like someone who can't express themselves properly

It used to be this way. Americans growing up only heard British accents on TV and it was usually respected actors, musicians, documentarians, historians etc.

Now though? There's a good chance the majority of British accents you hear are Youtube videos where Brits talk about pro wrestling, video games or Dragon Ball. It's killed all the prestige you used to associate with the accent.
