Can't really use their airforce because Ukraine is full of AD and Russia lacks stealth or electronic attack planes, so they get shot down easily. Any large army concentrations are taken up by ATACMS and anti-tank weapons so it's pointless to go big on the front.

It's the least gay war in the world, I think you don't understand the gold mine of crazy videos that the war in Ukraine gave us and I'm not talking about generic drone videos, it's something that you will only realize 10 years later once the war is over. Probably because they’re not wanting to blow their whole reserve when NATO comes in after Ukraine falls, which they would in some event in Poland or something. Putin probably also rightfully views failure or retreat in the war as a delegitimizing force so he’s got this balancing act to wring Ukraine enough to get them to negotiations, and as long as Ukraine revels in the deaths Russia endures, those losses aren’t HIS fault, they’re the drone operators he can wedge against.

So everything’s in holding, like WW1. Whomever can’t afford the fight first loses.
