Boomers had entire books, movies, and studies based on it. Yeah. I'm in my 30s and can confirm. My friends and acquainteces who did or still do drugs definitely look worse than those of us who don't. Early 40s here. When I was early 30s I definitely looked way younger and people would be surprised when I was carded but once you get into your late 30s and early 40s the age is much more noticeable. I think I look pretty great for my age and I look a lot better than the general population but there's just a point where your skin doesn't have that youthful softness to it. There's really no way of getting around it, even if you stay out of the sun and don't smoke/drink your skin isn't going to look as good as being under 25. I don't even have bad skin or a bunch of wrinkles or crows feet or anything like that but you just can't pass as that young anymore. If you're a man and you've put on some muscle over the years you can actually look better and more dignified. I feel more confident overall than I did when I was 25 and I feel like in general I get more respect from people in life of all ages. I felt like I was brushed off a lot in my 20s and early 30s because I just looked like an unexperienced kid even if I knew what I was talking about.
