Neetdom is a state of idleness of the spirit and body. You can be unemployed and not be a neet. In 2020 when covid started I moved back to my parents country home at 26 and began a 4 year withdrawal from civilization. My life for four years consisted of socializing with and tending for farm animals, lifting weights, and self study. I didn't socialize with anyone that wasn't part of my immediate family for a little over three years ( not online or otherwise) and definitely didn't go on this forsaken website. At the four year mark I had managed to hone the subject that I had self taught, which I wont go into, into a skill that could be used professionally and decided to once more try to partake in civilization. I have since moved out and live a comfortable life working in a field brimming with opportunity. I only bothered to type this out with the intention to motivate other anons going through a hermit phase. Don't give up and dont fall for the gloom and doom you read on here.
