Doesn't require a browser extension. You can add a local stylesheet for a browser and set the styles they posted for a specific domain.

But also, does 4chanX let you block threads in the catalog based on whether the OP is using a memeflag or not? That's quite literally the only thing I care about, last I checked it wasn't possible because that information isn't given in the catalog, only in each thread itself.

ALSO also, If you haven't already, consider blocking any thread that starts with a question word, as well as any thread that has less than 30 or so characters. These are usually synonymous with the low effort and bait threads, and you won't miss much, actual important threads don't start with questions.

To block memeflag threads write a script that edits catalog.json and if the flag is fake nuke that from the file before loading, I don't use 4chanX but surely this is possible now, here's an old version https://pastebin.com/GXMRsmpV

No you don't get it (unless I don't get it, I suppose), there IS no flag data in catalog.json. You can check under inspect element too, it says nothing about what flag the OP has until you actually load into the thread, so you can't just filter threads out by flag, annoyingly.

Look at the source html of the catalog
You will see country.
Write a simple bash script or AWK or whatever so you grab the html of the catalog, delete anything that's a memeflag post. Then view that locally.
Presto problem solved just you will have configure some key in your browser to launch this script or have a little terminal window open that downloads it to /temp and launches
