Dogs are not livestock. They have been companions to humans (Whites) for thousands of years. We shaped them to be what they are. We share a connection. A dog loves and cares about its owner. It wants to please them. It is also an individual in its own right, who will put up with discomfort if it thinks you are asking that of it. They trust their owner.

Mistreating a creature that feels this way about you is fundamentally wrong. You are responsible for its well being and again, it trusts you to look out for it. Mistreating a dog is betrayal.

NOPE. We are humans and we evolved to eat meat. Therefore we have a right to eat meat due to the nature of our very existence.
Humans, on the whole, decided that to eat meat, it's ideal to slaughter the animals with the least amount of pain and stress possible. This is the ethical position.
Yes we kill and eat them, but thats our nature, and it is also our nature to not torture or inflict unnecessary or undue pain on animals.

So in conclusion, shocking an animal to keep it on a 24" x 24" pad is absolutely worse than slaughtering an animal with an immediate and painless death in order to eat it for meat.

The dog lives with learned anxiety and pain every day thru shocks and mistreatment.
On the other hand, as I raise chickens and sheep for meat, my animals live happy lives with full bellies and as little stress and as little trauma as i can provide. They have a great life, and then one bad day.

Infinitely more ethical than shocking your dog for petty reasons.
