I'd rather eggs be $8 a dozen than ground beef being 8+ PER pound.
I miss under Biden when ground beef and fish were cheap. You could get ground beef for $3 a pound under Biden, and fish was cheaper.
Not to mention that the dollar store is now 1.75, under trump, soon to be over $2.

The problem is not consumer error. For the lowest 80% of the US (That's you if you make less than 150k/yr) wages have basically stagnated in purchasing power since like 1970. The very minor gains since 2019 have been a fraction of the increase in cost of living expenses post Covid.

There's like a billion ways to break down any number of data points. Some retard yelling he can't afford coke and mcdonalds right now is a metric, so is the gymbro buying rice and broccoli, so is the mealprepper living on lima beans and pork offal. Literally every vector of your purchasing power is fucked. There isn't a solution and there isn't an out except "make more money" and that's not a reasonable solution because everyone would already do that if they were capable.

you can make that with lye and fat from the grease from that bacon you got from the pig you raised in that half acre

you can make that in the corner of a small 1 acre lot too, though i'd suggest a straight edge

the only people who have farm animals are people who spend 2 hours each way driving to and from work

I just moved into my jeep yesterday.
Wife is crazy and it was going to end with me in jail, so I left.
Got a bed, shit to shower and clean up with, a cooler that holds ice for 5 days, a weeks worth of food.
Next week I'll be cooking a steak at the local state park.
I might even do some fishing while there.
I am much happier in my current situation. I'm now using free wifi at the town hall and I can study in the library.

As we were told from the very beginning, probably because dipshits like you would forget

In order to get better, you have to take the medicine, let it’s do its thing, and then you will get better.

Animals don’t grow overnight, and businesses don’t get started in a month.

Food is cheap and plentiful. These are people who make stupid choices and their shopping choices are limited to Qwikmarts and airport gift shops, or bitch that they can't cover a month's groceries for $200 because their "groceries" are delivered precooked in a cold greasy bag by some third world savage on an e-Bike.

There's a shitload of things to complain about in this society where urgent solutions are required. This isn't one of them.

If you’re paying $185 a month for your internet and phone - you’re doing something wrong.

Gigabit, gayphone 17 pro, paying $125.
and you know what? Gigabit for me and my wife is still like 4x what we actually need. Ditch the gigabit unless they give it to you for free. You aren’t even coming close to maxing it out, and you’ll save $50 and notice no difference whatsoever

This. Everyone is fighting tooth and nail to get paid more. Everyone. We are no longer in the "get bachelor's degree, live comfy, low-stress lifestyle" path anymore. Your wages do not go up unless you grind.

For example, an old boomer I rang up said to his son that back in the early 60's, he could buy a chocolate bar for 5 or 10 cents. Back then, the minimum wage was $1 / hour. You could buy 20 to 10 bars per hour. Now, it's more like 3 and they are a lot smaller and filled with fillers. So it's more like they made $30 / hour minimum wage in that regard. In reality though, meat was about as expensive as it has always been though. It just depends, but at the very most, the average pleb is still making like 2x less than what the average MW pleb in 1960 made.

I used to buy the rice-a-roni cheap Mac and cheese for 65-75 cents pre-pandemic. Pic related is current price at Walmart and I've seen it as high as $1.79 at regular grocery stores.

Also used to get a pound of ground turkey for like $2.50 and now it's a minimum of $5, saw a $7 pricetag today at a regular grocery store.

First they said inflation didn't exist, then they said it was 'transitory'. The fact is we have had 100% inflation post covid. Everything is double across the board.
