Solar panels would fix this. And if anyone is worried about them not working at night, the answer is really simple: you hook up giant floodlights to diesel generators and then shine them on the solar panels so they work in the dark.

How are things in Lviv and Kyiv? I was thinking about going there to get a closer look at the situation but I'm not sure. Might deliver a vehicle or something but I was considering staying neutral.
Can you just go there and stay up all night to look at the city or does it rain hell to the point where you'd be in a shelter by day two? I don't want to put strain on necessary resources for local citizens, but I would contribute with tourism if I could.

Gas needs pumps to be moved from storage and to the heaters. The pumps were destroyed some time ago, lots of gas got trapped in the underground storage (which is nuke-proof so no point in attacking it, you only need to take out the surface-level pumps).
Ukraine doesn't produce those pumps and I'm not sure if the pumps weren't of Soviet design (meaning even if they find a company that can make custom pumps it'd still take lots of time to reverse-engineer the original design)
