Tens of thousands of jobs are disappearing in the region. We're among the most expensive, most taxes, and most liberal states in the union. Rent prices continue to rise, and owning a home is quite literally impossible unless you have enough disposable income to cover a $25k down payment and $5k per month to afford the mortgage.
