In 2000 I leased a ford f150. Was working from home and only had 11k miles on it after 3 years. Buyout of lease was $36k. Took out a loan from Sofi for 36k. Bought the lease. Sold the car in 1 hour for $42k on Facebook market. Paid sofi within 4 days $36,400. Used the $5600 as a down payment on a nicer 2023 F150.
